WALLA WALLA ARRIVES
The Australian pacer Walla Walla arrived at Lyttelton by the Rangatira yesterday morning to compete in a number of match races, the first being at the blew Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club s meeting in Easter week. . Walla Walla went of? his food during the Tasman trip, but his owner (Mr L. S. Martin) expects the horse to be lit in a few days. ... , Probably Walla Walla will be driven in his races by W. M’Kay, a leading Victorian reinsraan, who accompanied Mr Martin on the trip. Another Australian horse, Auburn Lad. also landed to-day. He is owned by M'Kay.
