INDUSTRIES FAIR

SUCCESS IN ALL SECTIONS INCREASED VOLUME OF ORDERS (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, March 12. (Received March 13, at 5.5 p.m.)

Major Colville stated in the House of Commons that reports from all sections of the British Industries Fair indicated that the orders obtained for the home markets exceeded those from the 1933 fair. The volume of inquiries and orders secured from overseas buyers is stated to be higher than in any previous fair. There was an increase of 20 per cent, in the attendance of overseas buyers in the London section.
