In House of Commons, Mr Malcolm MacDoiiald (Under-Secretary for the .Dominions} informed Mr G. Lamr bert that when consideration was given to the cost of shipment arid the difference 'in currencies there, was> nothing incqnsistqnt with the Ottawa agreement in that butter was selling in Australia, fronv June to November, at 98s wholesale and Is per lb retail, while the present respective ' London prices were 69s and lOd. He had not therefore made representations to the Commonwealth.
