OTOKIA SCHOOL
At a meeting of. the Otokia School Jubilee Committee, held on Saturday last, arrangements were completed for the functions to be held on March 16, 17, and 18 in connection with the anniversary of the SC T°he- majority of the functions will be held at Otokia. but the ball and banquet will be held in Momona Public Hail. At the banquet a comprehensive toast list has been arranged, and ex-pupils will receive an opportunity for associating once ■again with their old schoolmates. life picnic and roll call will also afford similar opportunities. Realising that some expupils will find difficulty in arranging to get to Momona for various functions, the committee has arranged a bus service from Otokia. At the church service to be held on the Sunday, the address will be delivered by the Rev. H. T. Blair, of Oamaru, who was formerly a pupil of the school. The Jubilee Committee has been advised that two ex-pupils in Mrs H. Campbell, of Taieri Mouth, who enrolled at Otokia School in 1859, and Mr T. Christie, of Gore, who enrolled in 1860, will be present at the celebrations.
