Pure in body and mind—Try Stevens' Health Salt, a spoonful in a glass of water when you rise ... it sweetens life; 2s 6d a bottle at WARDELL'S.—Advt. . Parisians are drinking more milk and less wine, according to a survey by the French State Railways, which has jnst constructed a new milk station near the city to handle the increasing traffic. Nearly 365,000,000 quarts of milk were consumed in Paris last year, an increase of 6 per cent, over the previous 12 months. The consumption of wine, on the other hand, decreased slightly, although this is attributed chiefly to the economic crisis. It is noteworthy, however, that many more Parisian restaurants now supply milk with meals than formerly.
