Beautiful weather prevailed for the opening day of the Te Aroha Jockey Club’s annual meeting, 1 and the attendance was large. The "track was in perfect condition. Master Brierly scored an easy vistory in the cup.i/while in the open sprint Star Artist won by the narrowest margin.
