IMPORTANT REMITS PASSED. /• The following remits were passed yesterday at the annual conference of delegates to the New Zealand Surf and Lifesaving Association :—“That all land drill be omitted from future competitions for the Nelson shied.” “ That, subject to the approval of the Dominion Council and the district associations, the Dominion championships be held each year on the second week-end in February.” “ That four-man events be reinstated.” “That the New Zealand championships be held in the South Island every third year.”
