CITIZEN’S DAY NURSERIES
BABY SHOW AND STREET DAY A very successful effort to raise funds in aid of the Citizens’ Day Nurseries was held yesterday, when a baby show and street.collection were organised. The street collection realised the sum of £9O, and the entries for the baby show netted over £2. Throughout the day the nursery in Moray place was a scene of the greatest activity as the babies, numbering nearly 100, with their mothers, were marshalled into sections and brought before the judges. The judges were Dr Borrie, Dr Fergus and Mrs A. C. Cameron. The following are the results: — Boys;. under six months. —Douglas Morgan. 1, James Denniston 2.
