DUTCH NEW GUINEA
THE PROSPECTING LAW POSITION OF FOREIGNERS. THE HAGUE, February 21. (Received Feb. 22, at 7 p.m.) ,An Australian gold mining company which is interested in prospecting in Dutch New Guinea is understood to have secured the co-operation of leading Dutch mining companies, as necessitated by the by-law forbidding foreign prospecting in Dutch territory. An Australian negotiator is reported to be going to Amsterdam.
