GOOD TEMPLARY
There was another good attendance of officers and members at the Silver Star Juvenile Temple last Wednesday evening. Sis. Bessie Donaldson, C.T., was in the chair, and the A.S.J.W. was in charge. Visitors were present from the adult lodge. The newly-elected officers were installed into office by the A.S.J.W., who was assisted by Sis. Gain and Sis. Wright as installing marshals. Sis. Strode and Sis. C. South, who have consented to act as superintendents in the meantime, were present. One new member was admitted into the temple. Games were played after the business, with Sis. Strode at the piano. The Chief Templar, Sis. Beath, presided over a good attendance of members and visitors at the meeting on Wednesday of Hope of Dunedin Lodge. The committee which was appointed to interview the proposed new superintendents of the Juvenile Temple reported that Sisters Strode aiul South had agreed to accept that position, and 'the committee recommended the sisters for their new office. It was stated that Sis. Baynor, who had been for a number of years superintendent, had had to resign that position on account of illhealth. The assistant superintendent also wjslfed to be relieved of his office as his employment prevented him from beiijg early enough to attend the temple. Sis. Wright was nominated as next weeks visitor to the temple. Greetings were received from the Hope of Caversham an.l the Rescue Lodge. The following programme was rendered:—Pianoforte solo, Sis. Morwood; duet, Sisters Beath and Steedmaii; solo, Sis. Lcishman; reading, Sis Green. A letter from Bro. Curtis, of India, was read by Bro. Williams. A heartv vote of thanks was passed to all who helped to make the evening such a success.
