CANON HILLIARD SELECTED s SYDNEY, December 14. (Received Dec. 15, at 1 a.rn.) - S Advice has been received by Canon W. G. Hilliard, headmaster of. Trinity Grammar School, Dulwich Hill, that he has been unanimously selected as Bishop of Nelson, New Zealand, in succession to Bishop Sadlier. Canon Hilliard, who is regarded as one of the most popular evangelicals in Anglican church life in Australia, is a forceful and convincing preacher, with a distinct appeal to young people. He stated to-day that he had not yet begun to think about the offer from Nelson owing to being thick in his Speech Day pieparationu. . i
