THEATRE WORKERS
CONCILIATION COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, December 14. No agreement was arrived at in the Conciliation Council proceedings to-day in the application by the New Zealand Theatrical Proprietors’ and Managers’ Industrial Union of Employers for a new award. The other party to the dispute was the New Zealand Federated Theatrical and Places of Amusement Employees’ Industrial Association of Workers. The main point at issue was whether the employees’ travelling time should be computed in the workers’ hours.
