CLAIM FOR £ISOO ALLEGED WRONGFUL DETENTION. (Per United Press Association.) ' WELLINGTON, December 13. Evidence before the special committee of the House in the case in which Annie Lillian Matheson, of Auckland, petitioned Parliament for £ISOO for alleged wrongful imprisonment was concluded this morning. The chairman said that a statement would be obtained from Mr F. K. 'Hunt, S.M., on the question oT the remand or adjournment point, which was in dispute. The committee will deliberate to-morrow morning.
