JAPANESE EXPORTS
EFFORT TO CONTROL STATEMENT BY FOREIGN OFFICE. TOKjIO, December 9. (Received Dec. 10, at 8 p.m.) The Foreign Office has issued a statement in which it says it is trying to control exports with a view to coping with world-wide agitations against Japanese goods and also to arrange trading agreements. In the event of the latter, however, being impossible,, it will enforce discriminatory tariffs against those countries unfairly blocking the entry of Japanese goods.
