ATTACK ON BRITAIN
FRENCH SCENT MAGNATE A STRING OF GRIEVANCES. PARIS, November 30. The scent magnate, M. Francois Coty, has made an astonishing attack on Britain in his newspaper L’Ami du Peuple, which cites grievances against Britain from the time of Joan of Arc. He says: “ Britain has imposed her parliamentary system upon us, accustomed us to her sports, her social usages, her literature, and her favourite pleasures-—from boxing to the Salvation Army gatherings and music hall entertainments. Anglomania overflows, into all domains, denationalising us a little more each day. This demiservitudc has reduced France to the role of a British dominion.” 1 j
