Authority has been granted the drainage engineer to proceed with the reconstruction of portion of the 12-inch foul sewer in David ' street, near 'Porbury Corner, which collapsed on November 2. It is not possible to give an estimate of tbe cost .- at present, as tlye. full extent of tbs damage cannot be ascertained.until further iuvesigation can been carried out. The cost will be a charge against the Renewal Fund. Authority has been granted to take the necessary. steps, pursuant to' the board’s .
