It includes the Bavarian section, all the Pomeranian clergy, 1100 of 1200 Wurtemburg pastors, while the Thuringians have abjured Bishop Hossenfcldcr's leadership. Laymen have formed a society similar to the Pastors’ Emergency League to protect the Bible. Bishop Hosscnfclder compelled Archbishop Schoeffel, of Hamburg, to resign in favour of Bishop Coch, of Saxony, who insists on separate churches for Christianised Jews.
