MOSGIEL CITIZENS' ASSOCIATION.

Mr H. Millar presided over the,, monthly meeting of the.Mosgicl Citizens’ Association. There was a small attendance. The town clerk, Mosgiel, wrote stating that the matters mentioned in the association’s letter were receiving consideration and a further reply, would be sent in duo course. A discussion arose over the dust nuisance in Factory road. The covering on the road was gravel, and as there was considerable traffic between the intersection of Gordon road and the woollen factory gates, dust was continually blowing into the houses on the street line. A requisition was being prepared to hand to the local Borough Council, asking that steps bo - taken to have the nuisance abated. —It was resolved to support the requisition. It was decided to ask the Borough Council to improve the pathway from the railway line to the factory gate on the Silverstream side of Factory road.
