BRITAIN AND JAPAN
TRADE DISCUSSIONS. DELAYED LONDON, November 24. The Daily Express recalls that the delegation of Japanese merchants has been here two months. Its mission is to discuss with British merchants and Board of Trade officials a scheme for sharing the Empire markets. Apparently no conversations are possible until Japan has settled with India. The Express says that the Japanese exports for the eight months of 1933 are: Britain, £3,651,916; Australia, £2,556,830; New Zealand, £323,981.
