ULM PREPARING (United Press Association.) ✓ (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY, November 25. Mr Ulm stated that the latest reports indicate that the weather is improving, and he now intends to leave Richmond at 2 o’clock on Monday morning, and fly to New Plymouth aerodrome. He expects the trip will take from 12 to 15 hours. Provision has been made for carrying 740 gallons of petrol. A transmitting and receiving wireless set has been installed in the Faith in Australia, SYDNEY, November 26. (Received Nov. 26, at 6.30 p.m.) Ulm will take off from Richmond for New Zealand at 2 a.m. on Monday, subject to weather reports. DEPARTURE POSTPONED. SYDNEY, November 26. (Received Nov. 26, at 11.25 p.m.) Ulm will be unable to leave until Tuesday or Wednesday morning owing to an adverse report received to-night. PREPARATIONS AT NEW ' PLYMOUTH PERSONNEL OF THE PARTY. (Per United Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, November 26. The New Plymouth airport officials are basing their plans on the belief that Mr C. P. Ulm will begin his transtasman flight from Sydney to New Plymouth about 2 o’clock to-morrow morning and arrive at New Plymouth to-morrow afternoon. The last cablegram from the airman stated that he expected to start at that time and that the weather in Sydney was improving. The Faith in Australia will carry 750 gallons of petrol, •which is considered ■ will give an ample reserve. Mr Ulm says he expects to complete the crossing in from 12 to 15 hours. The personnel of the party will he Mr Ulm (chief pilot), “ Scotty” Allen (co-pilot), R. B. Boulton (wireless operator), Mrs Ulm and Miss Kathleen Rogers, Mr Ulm’s secretary.
