Two thousand people who crowded Brompton Oratory the other day listened spellbound while Count John M'Cormaek, the famous Irish tenor, sang “ Pauls Angelicas ” at the wedding of his only daughter, Qwendolyn. As his voice filled the church the congregation kneeled or stood in reverence. The scene was in marked contrast to a short time before, when huge crowds swarmed round the doors of the church and the police had almost to fight to hold them back. The bridegroom was Mr Edward Pyke, son of Mr and Mrs Cuthbert Pyke. of Thistleton Lodge, Kirkham, Lancashire. toe service was conducted by the Archbishop of Liverpool. .
