MANY DEFINITE SIGNS LONDON, November 3. (Received Nov. 3, at 10 p.m.) The Daily Telegraph places together as evidence of the Empire’s recovery of prosperity the Sydney wool sales prices, the South African trade returns, showing a favourable trade balance of £19,000,000 for the nine months ended September 30, and Canada’s huge increase in nickel exports. It then points out that the opening day of the commercial motor show in London showed record orders, with a strong freshening, demand from Australia, New Zealand and other parts of the Empire.
