DUNEDIN JUNIOR ORCHESTRA

The second concert, and the final for 1933, will be given by the Dunedin Junior Orchestra, under the conductorship of Mr C. Roy Spackman, in the Town Hall Concert Chamber on Tuesday. The orchestra has made wonderful strides since the first concert, and Mr Spackman has now under him over 80 players. A specially selected programme hag been arranged, which will include “ Fantasia on Sea Shanties,” “ of Penzance ” selection, “Henry VIII Dances.” “Gopak,” “Coronation March” from “Le Prophete.” The first concert was a wonderful success, and it is safe to say that this concert will be much better. The plans will be open at Begg’s on Thursday.
