RICCARTON TRACK WORK

(Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH. November 3. The weather was fine for training at Riccarton this morning. The inside of the trial grass track was open, but not many horses went there. Inflation ran a mile and a-quarter in 2min 14 2-ssec. Henry of Navarre accompanied him over the first five furlongs and then jumped two hurdles well. Bodyline was much too good for Invcresk over halt a mile in 51 2-ssec. Eminent and Forestry did strong work on the plough.

Tout le Monde and The Masquerader went twice round No. 7 track at a sound pace. , Ranelagh went seven furlongs in Imin 32 4-ssec, the last half in 52sec. Hurlingham went a half along the hack in 48 2-ssec. Brambletorn did useful work, the last half in 53 2-ssec. Miladi and Prostration went a half in 49sec. Minerval, with Arrow Rose over the last three, covered a half in 49 3-ssec. Walton Park and Dollar Prince went six furlongs in Imin 19 4-sscc, Great Star and Double Shot three along the back in 37 3-ssec, Gipsy Love five (the last half in 49 l-ssec), Golden Wings taking {SO 2-ssec Brown Betty went a half in 60, Some Shambles a half in 48 3-ssec, Palantua and Blazon a half in 48 2-ssec. Flying Amy, Irish Lancer, Last Link, Roland, and Queen of Song have arrived from the south and Knoeklong from the West Coast. During a gallop on the plough Niggerhead suffered a bleeding attack.and was scratched for the LinwOod Handicap at 1.40.
