A reward of £SO was offered in a San Francisco newspaper for a handkerchief lost on the golf links. Tied in a corner of it there was a valuable diamond ring. A cow caused a girl to be electrocuted at Speokkorn, in Germany. She was leading the animal when it became restive and plunged into an electric power standard. There was a flash and the girl and the cow were Killed. I
