THE WHEAT INDUSTRY
GOVERNING ORGANISATIONS ELECTION OF BIRECTORS. (Peb United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, November 1. The election of the directors of the two organisations which govern the wheat industry of New Zealand was held to-day. The four wheatgrower directors of the Wheat Marketing Agency Company, Ltd., were elected as follows: —Messrs James Carr (Methven), A. Grant (Waimate), W. W. Mulholland (Barfield), and H. F. Nicoll (Ashburton). Seven provisional directors of the new wheatgrowers’ organisation, to be known as the United Wheat Growers of New Zealand, Ltd., were elected as follows; —Messrs James Carr (Methven), A. Craig (Balclutha), A. Fisher (Culverden), A. Grant (Waimate), R. T. M'Millan (Irwell), W. W. Mulholland (Barfield), and H. F, Nicoll (Ashburton). There were seven nominations for the four directors of the Wheat Marketing Agency Company, Ltd., and 17 nominations for the provisional directorate of the United Wheatgrowers; The nominations to the Wheat Research Institute were Messrs Mulholland, Carr, and P. R. Talbot (Claremont),.
