OBITUARY
1 MR J. K. FRANKS Mr James Kynaston Franks, of Tauranga, died recently, at the age of C 8 years. He was the third son of Mr Francis Franks, of Temuka. He was born at Waikouaiti, Otago, and was educated at Temuka. Mr Franks was one of the pioneer farmers in Taranaki, settling at Ngaere. Later he had farms in the Waikato and at Whangarei. For the last ten years Mr Franks had been living in the Bay of Plenty, settling first at Taneatua and later at Tauranga.
