WAR DEBTS PROBLEM
BRITAIN AND AMERICA NO AGREEMENT THIS YEAR (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, October 31. (Received Oct. 31, at 11 p.m.) The Daily Express lobbyist says that hope of an Anglo-American war debts agreement this year has been definitely abandoned. A token payment of something like will be made on December 15 towards the instalment of £19,000,000 then due. The question of ultimate revision will be kept open, and it is believed that the United States will accept the token payment in December.
