A FLOATING AERODROME PROPOSAL FOR THE ATLANTIC. NEW YORK, October 30. (Received Oct. 31, at 11 p.m.) An aerodrome and ocean dock corporation, formed in New York, intends to install five floating landing fields for aeroplanes between. New York and Ireland, and planes would transport passengers across the Atlantic in 24 hours. The first station would be 400 miles off New York. Investors offer 4,000,000 dollars if the Government will subsidise the proposition with an additional 30,000,000 dollars. Each float or dock will contain an hotel, besides refuelling facilities. ... Colonel Lindbergh has been inquiring into the proposition while in Europe.
