GOVERNOR OF THE SUDAN
SIR GEORGE STEWART SYMES LONDON, October 29. Sir George Stewart Symes has been appointed Governor-General of the Sudan. Sir George Symes is at present Governor of Tanganyika Territory. He has seen much military and diplomatic service. He served in the South African and European Wars with distinction.
