Arthur Charles Young was charged - with, while intoxicated, being in charge, of a motor car in a public place. He pleaded guilty.—-Senior-sergeant Mac Lean said the defendant was fortunate that. through the vigilance of Constable Monk he was prevented from driving the car. The defendant had not been before >he court previously; he was a very faithful employee.—The defendant, who said he would take, out? a prohibition order, was fined £l2 10s, his license was cancelled, and he was prohibited from driving for 15 mouths. • ';; SERIOUS CHARGE. Harry William Hall was charged with a serious offence against a girl five years of age. "He was defended by Mr C. A.
