SOUTH AFRICAN BUTTER
DROUGHT CAUSES SHORTAGE IMPORTS PERMITTED. CAPETOWN, October 12. The Minister of Agriculture has issued a permit to the Dairy Association to import butter. The drought caused a shortage, resulting in an advance in price to 2s 5d- The Union exported 5,000,0001 b, which was selling overseas at B^d.
