A TO STOP INDIGESTION The gastric Juices should contain between 0.35 and 0.4 per cent, of acid, and digestion remains good so long as stomach acidity keeps normal. When this proportion is exceeded the excess acid ferments the food intended to nourish yon ; and generates gases which painfully distend the stomach. Therefore the surest way to relieve indigestion is to counteract the acidity, and for this purpose many doctors prescribe “ Bisurated ” Magnesia. Half a teaspoonful, or two to four tablets in water after eating, or when pain is felt not only instantly neutralises excess stomach acid, and stops fermentation, but by restoring normal, healthy digestion, enables you to enjoy your food without discomfort. Every chemist sells “Bisurated" Magnesia in powder and tablet form —there is no quicker or surer remedy for indigestion. Look for the oval “Bismag” trade mark on each package.
