GRIFFEN DEFEATS DONKIN. (Peb United Press Association.) WAIPUKURAU. October 13. Last night Henry Donkin, of Havelock North, former provincial amateur representative, fought his first professional bout, being defeated-by Jim Griffen. of Tahapau, in a close contest on points after it bad gone the full 10 rounds. Donkin will meet Clarric Raynor at Blenheim next week.
