CLASH IN DUBLIN

REPUBLICANS AND POLICE FIFTEEN YOUTHS INJURED. LONDON, September 27. (Received Sept. 27, at 8.30 p.m.) Following a Republican meeting in O’Connell street, Dublin, a crowd of several thousands attacked the premises of an English brewer nearby, hurling stones through the windows. The arrival of police reinforcements resulted in a pitched battle, the police, with drawn batons, repeatedly charging the crowd. People leaving the theatres and kinemae rushed into shops. When the street was cleared 15 young men were found lying injured and sent to hospital.
