In accordance with the arrangements made at the adjournment of the World Economic Conference that there should be consultations, Dr Colijn, Prime Minister of the. Netherlands, visited No. 10 Downing street yesterday afternoon, and was in conversation with Mr MacDonald for two hours on the general economic situation.

An early resumption of the conference ie unlikely, but the newspapers suggest the possibility of some of the sub-com-mittees of the Economic Commission of the conference being convened and continuing their work.
