NEGOTIATIONS WITH LONDON STATEMENT BY MR COATES. (From Que Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, September 25. "My job is here," said the Minister of Finance (Mr J. G. Coates) emphatically this evening when asked to comment on a cablegram in to-day's paper that he " should not have a difficult task if he comes to London to negotiate a conversion loan." Mr Coates. said there was no need for him to go Home to deal with loan conversions as all the necessary arrangements had already been made.
