BLENHEIM AIR CRASH

DEATH OF A. PASSENGER MR MAINDONALD SUCCUMBS TO INJURIES. (Peg United Press Association.) BLENHEIM, September 25. Mr Edgar Thomas Maindonald, of Reefton, who was injured in yesterday's air crash, died at an early hour this morning. Mr Cummings, the other injured passenger, passed a good night, but, apart from his injuries, is suffering severely from shock. Mr Maindonald, who was 29 years of age, was a well-known Reefton resident. He leaves a widow and three children, the eldest five years old, and the youngest 11 months. Mr Cummings is a motor drive/, residing at the Ikamatua Hotel, Ikamatua, near Reefton, and not at Wakefield as previously telegraphed. The inquesifc was opened this morning and adjourned sine die to await Cummings's evidence. .
