CIVIC GUARDS FIRED AT FIVE PEOPLE DETAINED. LONDON, September 24. Thirty-three people were treated for injuries at the Limerick Hospital following Saturday night's disturbances. Five have been detained. The rioters attempted to set fire to three motor cars outside \he Blueshirt leader's hotel. Shots were fired at the Civic Guards by the pursuing rioters.
