HUGE RUSSIAN BALLOON
FAILURE TO LEAVE GROUNDt FLIGHT AGAIN POSTPONED. MOSCOW, September 24. After repeated, tests involving several ineffectual attempts to leave the ground the stratospheric balloon flight was again postponed. BITTER DISAPPOINTMENT. MOSCOW, September 24. There was bitter disappointment over the failure of the attempt to enter the stratosphere. The balloon is the world's largest. She has a capacity of '250,000 cubic feet, and a diameter of 112 feet. She rose only 25 feet.
