THE EMDEN'S BELL
SEARCH IN SAN FRANCISCO (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copy right.) SAN FRANCISCO, September 23. (Received Sept. 24, at 9 p.m.) Reported to have been stolen from the Australian war memorial museum the bell of the Emden is being eought here. The police disclosed to-night that they are checking incoming vessels, stating that Mr W. H. Childs, police com missioner in Sydney, requested a gearch, A German known as Charles Kaolmel if believed to have taken the. belL
