The general report stated that the coin-mittee;ha4:met-regiiJarly:every month,' the Rev. W. Allen Stevely being in the chair and Mr J. Ironside acting as hon. secretary. Mr J. Farquharson.had represented the committee on the Central Executive. The committee recorded its appreciation of the voluntary helpers who had rendered such splendid'service at .the initiation of the depot in Dowling,street; and also to 1 the band of hardworking voluntary officials who had given regular service at the depot through the year—Mrs Armstrong. All had worked together, harmoniously. : - A special effort raise, funds took'the form of a concert in. the Town Hall Concert. Chamber, the pro-: gramme'being arranged by Dr Galway.
