STATEMENT AT A MEETING LONDON, September 22. (Received Sept. 22, at 11.55" p.m.) Mr Montagu Norman, at the halfyearly meeting of the governors of the Bank of England, said; “I hope I can dissociate myself for the future from any connection with currency. lam not wholly responsible for some of these questions* which lie elsewhere.”
