LOS, ANGELES TOURNAMENT SATOH TO MEET TIDBALL. LOS ANGELES, September 21. Satoh advanced to the semi-finals, defeating. Turnbull, 7 —5, 6 —2. Satoh will now, meet Tidball, and the winner will then play the victor of the other semi-final between Perry and Stoefen, which will be played on Saturday. LATER RESULTS., LOS ANGELES, September 21. (Received Sept. 22, at 11 'p.m.) In the semi-finals Miss Round defeated the defending champion, Mrs Lawrence Harper (Oakland), 6—l, 6—2; Miss Marble defeated Miss Caroline Babcock, 6—l, 6-2. In the Men’s Doubles Vines and Stoefen won two matches, advancing to the semirfinals by defeating Mahoney and Car (Los Angeles), 6 —5, 6 —2, and Perry and Wilde 6—l, 6—3. Turnbull and Quist also reached the semifinals by defeating Gene Mako and Tidbell 6—3, 7—5. In the Women’s Doubles in the semifinals Misses Ryan and Marble defeated Mrs Van Ryn and Mrs Harper, 6—4, 6—l; Misses Round and Heeley defeated Misses Babcock and Josephine Cruckshank, 6—l, 6—2.
