SUNDAY SERVICES

Communion services will be held at Knox Church both morning and evening, when the Rev, D. C. Herron will preach. The subject for the evening is “ Lo, the winter is past, the flowers appear on the earth.” At First Church to-morrow the Rev. W. Allen Stevely will conduct both services. His subjects will be: Morning—■ “The Juniper Tree,” and evening—- " Gold for Brass.” Dr V. E, Galway will be the organist. Sunday school anniversary services will' be held in Trinity Methodist Church, Stuart street, to-morrow. The Rev, P. I. Cooke will be the preacher in the morning, the Rev. B. J. James in the afternoon, and the Rev. H. E. Bellhouse in the evening. There will be the usual special features at each service, Mr J. E. Davies conducting the scholars’ singing. The Rev, Albert Mead will conduct the services at the Moray Place Congregational Church. The subject of the evening address will be “ Christ’s Authoritative Words.” The choir will render “O, Father, Whose Almighty Power” (Handel) and Mr J. D. M'Kechnie will sing Gounod’s “ There Is a Green Hill Far Away.” At the evening service at the York place hall, Mr H. W. Brohn will speak on “Death or Life—Which?” At the Salvation Amy, Dowling Street Portress, the speaker at the morning service will be Adjutant Charles A. Thomas, and in the evening Captain Maude Kilgour. In the afternoon Mrs Adjutant Thomas will give an address on “ The Journeys of St. Paul.” This is a further one of a scries, and will be illustrated with lantern slides. The Sunday school anniversary will be celebrated at the Hanover Street Baptist Church to-morrow. The services will be conducted in the morning by the Rev. J. M. Smeeth, in the afternoon by Mr W. J. Gibbs, and in the evening by the Rev, E. S. Tuckwcll. There will bo special singing by the children, led by an orchestra under Mr W. H. Hictt. The Rev. E. S. Tuckwell, 8.A., will conduct the morning service at the United Congregational Church to-morrow. In the evening the Rev. James M. Smeeth will speak on “The Treasures of the Snow,” and Mrs D. E. Ewart will be the soloist. At the Theosophical Society there will bo special addresses on “ The Life and Work of Dr Annie Bosant ” by Miss C. Dalzicl and Mr J. M. M‘Ewan. There will be morning, and evening services at the Methodist Central Mission. The latter service will be broadcast, the preachers being the Rev. L. B. Neale and the Rev. A. H- Voycc. Mr Voyce will deliver the address. The soloist will bo Miss Margaret Beattie. First Church of Christ Scientist will conduct services in Allbcll Chambers. 154 Stuart street, to-morrow. The subject for the morning and evening services will bo “Reality.”
