Amongst the subiects dealt with are setting up the cage.s, moulting, seeds, food, colour feeding,'sickness, and there is a chapter on “ mule - breeding,” The book is illustrated with photographs’of various types of. canary and goldfinch. The publishers are Robertson and Alullens. While.it could not be said that the designs and legends in “ Sho’ Card Lay-outs ’ (Is net) by W. L. Mitchell are modern in aspect or, artistically attractive, it. is possible that their effectiveness for thenpurpose is none the less’on that account. This booklet .contains over 200 designs and five pages of instruction.for the disking of shop-window cards (from Robertson and Alullens).
