A policeman was stung to death by bees at Frankfort, South Africa, recently. A swarm nested on the roof of the police station, and Contable H. C. Wassermau leaned out of the window to watch them. The swarm attacked him and stung him. When the stings were extracted lie treated the matter as a joke. Twenty minutes later he collapsed and died.
