INTERISLAND MATCH MANAGERS AND REFEREE APPOINTED; (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON September 21. In regard to the Christchurch complaint that no managers had been apEointed for the interisland Rugby teams, oth the Wellington and the New Zealand Unions have appointed officials. The actual managers will be Mr H. A. Griffiths (North Island) and Mr H. Murphy (South Island). Messrs A. M'Donald and W. J. Wallace will be to both teams as coaches and general advisers. Mr C. H. Pauli has been appointed referee for the match. RANFURLY SHIELD THE CANTERBURY TEAM. (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, September 21. The following team has been selected to represent Canterbury against South Canterbury in the Ranfurly Shield match on Saturday:— Backs. —French, J. Hattersley, W. Brown, M'Phail, Mortlock, Cobden, Mullan. Forwards. —Foley, Rankin, Hartnell, Howell, King, Bourne, Wade, Bowes.
