ART UNION PROCEEDS
ALLOCATION ANNOUNCED (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, September 21. The Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr J. A. Young) announces the allocation of the proceeds of the last art union, amounting to £IO,OOO, as follows:—Distress relief £SOOO, Home of Compassion (Wellington) £3OO, Smith family (Wellington) £250, Whangarei A, and P. Society £IOOO, Hamilton Y.M.O.A. £BOO, Canterbury Officers’ Club £250, Franklin A. and P. Society £SOO, Egmont National Park Board (South Committee) £BOO, South African Veterans’ Association £250, Wanganui A. and P. Society £SOO, Wellsford A. and P. Society £350.
