YOUTHS PLACED ON PROBATION RESTITUTION ORDERED. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, September 21. The live young men who pleaded guilty yesterday to stealing goods from their employers, and in most eases receiving goods knowing them to have been dishonestly obtained, were dealt with today. The chief offender, James Kerr Stewart, was lined £3O and probation for two years, a condition being the refunding forthwith of £l2, representing the damage done to goods. Roodcrkerk was placed on probation for three years, and Simpson for two years. Lowe was put on probation for a year and ordered to make restitution of £2 5a 6d, the value of goods damaged by him, and Cook was also placed on probation for one year, and ordered to make good £2, the value of goods unrecovered.
